The Future of Indian Employment in the Age of Artificial Intelligence When machines become clever, what will happen to the people who work beside them? There was a time when a young Indian graduate believed that a degree was the beginning and the end of a career. A degree in engineering could lead to a job in a technology company; a degree in commerce could lead to banking or accounting; a teaching qualification could lead to a school.
